Installation & Setup

1. Use only the official installer from your purchase confirmation email or the download page. If the download page says downloads are paused, do not use mirrors or old links; your plan stays on your account, so contact support for current availability.
2. Run the installer as Administrator. If Windows shows a SmartScreen prompt, verify the publisher/signature and SHA-256 before deciding whether to continue.
3. If you already have ORION installed, launch it normally and sign in with your purchase email. New downloads may wait until downloads resume, but your plan is active on the account as soon as payment clears.
4. Run the Health Scanner to see your system's current state.
5. Apply a profile or individual tweaks. ORION will snapshot your settings automatically before any change.

Applying Tweaks

ORION offers two ways to apply tweaks:

• Profiles - Pre-built collections for specific use cases. "Ultra Competitive" for ranked play, "Creator + Gaming" for streaming, etc. One click applies all relevant tweaks.
• Individual tweaks - Browse the full catalog of 1,000+ certified executable tweaks. Each shows its evidence level, risk rating, and which games/setups benefit most.

Every apply creates an automatic snapshot. You can revert any individual tweak or the entire session.

Reverting Changes

• Revert individual tweak - Click the tweak in the Applied list and click "Revert".
• Restore from snapshot - Go to Snapshots, pick any saved point, click "Restore". ORION reverts all tweaks to that state.
• Reset everything - In Settings → Advanced → "Reset all ORION tweaks". This reverts every tweak ORION has ever applied to Windows defaults.

ORION keeps the last 10 snapshots by default. Manual snapshots are kept forever.

Account & Access

• Where is my key? - There is no key. Your plan lives on the ORION account that matches the email you paid with.
• How to unlock your plan - Open ORION → Click "Sign In" → Use your purchase email. Requires internet the first time so the app can read your plan.
• Transferring to a new PC - Free and Pro plans cover one device at a time. Sign in to the account portal and use “Move to a new PC”, or contact support if you cannot access the portal.
• Elite - up to 3 devices - Each PC you sign in on registers until the 3-device limit is reached. To remove a device, use the account portal when available or contact support.

Anti-Cheat Compatibility

ORION avoids game-file edits, injection, and memory hooks. Every tweak is tagged with its known anti-cheat compatibility status, and you are responsible for following the rules of the games you play:

• Safe - Uses documented Windows settings with no known anti-cheat conflict in the ORION catalog.
• Monitor - Safe but monitor for game-specific issues. ORION will warn you.

ORION never touches game files, memory, or processes. It only modifies Windows system settings - the same settings you can change manually in Windows.

No Performance Improvement?

1. Run the Benchmark Mode to get actual before/after numbers. Perceived improvement can be misleading.
2. Check the Smart Advisor - it may flag that certain tweaks aren't relevant for your specific hardware.
3. If you're GPU-bound (GPU usage constantly at 100%), CPU tweaks won't help - you're hitting the GPU ceiling.
4. Make sure your game is running in Exclusive Fullscreen mode, not Borderless Window, to benefit from fullscreen optimizations.
